ii) For the posts of Constable in APRO and Fireman & Emergency Rescuer in F&ES: 18 to 25 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and after 01.01.1995).

Relaxations: 
Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
(iii) Upper age limit will be relaxed by 3yearsin respect of Trained Home Guards who have served for a minimum period of 3 (three) years or more. (Certificate to this effect from competent authority will have to be submitted).

Selection Process: Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). If any candidate is found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer present in the DLSC /Selection Committee, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the other tests.

Nationality:

Age Relaxation :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).

(iii) Additional relaxation of 3 (three) years in respect of trained Home Guards/members of VDPs (registered) who have served for a period of 3(three) years or more.

Note: Candidates having educational qualification Higher Secondary and above may also apply for both Armed Branch & Unarmed Branch. In such case, in the online application form, the applicant will have to clearly mention his/her preference for the posts of Unarmed Branch & Armed Branch.

However, the final decision regarding allotment of successful candidates will lie with the Chairman, SLPRB, Assam.

The TET for secondary level 2019 will be held for the following 5 (five) medium:

1. Assamese
2. Bengali

Educational Qualification for Assam Secondary TET 2019:

1. Graduate Teacher: Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized university atleast 50% marks either in Graduation or in post graduation and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) from National Council for Teachers Education recognized institution, but Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be
considered as valid.

2. Hindi Teacher: Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized university, but Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Or,
BA with 50% marks and having Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks or postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks provided that he/she has passed BA with one of the subject as Hindi with 50% marks in Hindi.
And,
BT/B.Ed degree from any recognized university ( Prangat to be treated as B.Ed degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching) but Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education

3. Classical Teacher (Arabic, Sanskrit, Urdu, Persian etc): MM with 50% marks/ 50% marks in the concerned subject and degree qualification with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized university,
but Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Or,
BA with 50% marks having Arabic as one of the subject with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks provided he/she has passed BA with one of the subject as Arabic with 50% Marks in Arabic.
And,
BT/B.Ed degree from any recognized university. But Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.

4. Classical Teacher (Assamese Language, Manipuri Language): B.A with Honours/ Major in concerned subject with 50% marks and B.T. /B.Ed. degree from any recognized University. But Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.

However all intending candidates may note that,
(a) B.T / B. Ed. Degree from recognized university is a mandatory prerequisite eligibility qualification for applying for the TET examination.
(b) The candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects or having Diploma in Assamese language issued by the Axom Sahitya Sabha or read upto HSLC level in Assamese medium school.

Note: Provided that in case of recruitment of teacher for teaching MIL subject, the candidate passing HSLC examination with that particular MIL subject shall be considered.

Assam Secondary TET 2019 - Age Limit:

Age of the candidate must not be less than 21 years of age. During the appointment in Govt./Prov. Schools upper and lower age limit will be applicable as per the Govt. rules/ act.

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

Assam Secondary TET - Application Fee:

- The candidates who have applied earlier vide advertisement no.RMSA/STET/343/2014/1, dated 30/06/2014 need not pay the fee for this TET provided the applicant have to mention his/her online Application Number against our earlier advertisement no. RMSA/STET/343/2014/1 dated 30/06/2014 in
the form.
- Fee payable: Rs 400/- (Rs Four hundred only)
- Fee can be paid online through SBI collect

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Assam Secondary TET 2019:

To qualify in TET Examination the candidate must score at least 60% marks. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD. The candidate whose degree of physical disability is more than 40% are only eligible to apply, under the PWD/PH.

Not with standing the minimum prescribed marks secured in TET Examination, the number of candidates declared as TET Examination qualified would be a maximum of double the number of vacancies of Teachers and such candidates will be determined as per merit position.

Validity for Assam Secondary TET 2019 Certificate:

All candidates who pass the TET will be awarded a certificate. The validity of the certificate shall be for a maximum period of 7(Seven) years from the date of issue of the certificate by the Empowered Committee, Government of Assam subject to the condition that the candidate otherwise fulfills the eligibility criteria prescribed for recruitment to the services in Government of Assam.

Documents to bring to the rally:

Candidates are required to bring following documents/certificates in original with two attested photocopies with them to the rally site :-
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computer printouts/ photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted.
(c) Education Certificate. Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e Martic/Intermediate/Graduation etc from recognized School/College/Board/University. Provisional/Online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board/University. Candidates with matric certificates from open school should bring school leaving certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.
(d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile / Nativity Certificate with photograph issued by Teshildar/District Magistrate or any other government officer of the same rank will only be accepted.
(e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph (Maharashtra State does not issue with photograph of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate).
(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Teshildar/SDM (if religion as “SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate.
(g) School Character Certificate. School character certificate issued by the School/College Principal/headmaster where the candidate last studied.
(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/Muncipal Corporation within last six months.
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photographs issued by village Sarpanch/Muncipal Corporation within last six months.
(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW candidate are required to provide the following documents :-
(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective records office only duly signed by records Officer with Personal number, Rank , Name and particular of the records officer issuing the relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp is endorsed.

(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State Level and University team or regional team at District level with 1st/2nd position within last two years. Sports certificates should be with registration number and from govt recognized sports institutes/bodies as under :-
(aa) All Sr/Jr national Championship Certificate - Respective National Federation.
(ab) All State & Dist level Certificates - Respective State Sports Association.
(ac) All University level Certificate - Inter University Sports Board.
(ad) All Scholl level certificate - All India School Games Federation.
(n) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non judicial Stamp paper as per given below duly attested by notary will be submitted by candidate.

Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts Hojai, Biswanath, Nagaon, Sonitpur & Morigaon from 13 Jan 2020 to 17 Jan 2020 at Solmara Military Stadium, Tezpur

Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 14 Nov 19 to 28 Dec 2019.

1. Soldier General Duty
Age:
 17 ½ to 21 yrs
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

2. Soldier Technical
Age:
 17 ½ to 23 yrs
Educational Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Math and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

3. Soldier Clk/SKT
Age: 
17 ½ to 23 yrs
Educational Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Math/Account/Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.

4. Soldier Tradesman 10th Pass
Age: 
17 ½ to 23 yrs
Educational Qualification: Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

5. Soldier Tradesman 08th Pass
Age: 
17 ½ to 23 yrs
Educational Qualification: Class 08th Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper). No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Documents to bring to the rally:

Candidates are required to bring following documents/certificates in original with two attested photocopies with them to the rally site :-
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computer printouts/ photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted.
(c) Education Certificate. Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e Martic/Intermediate/Graduation etc from recognized School/College/Board/University. Provisional/Online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board/University. Candidates with matric certificates from open school should bring school leaving certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.
(d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile / Nativity Certificate with photograph issued by Teshildar/District Magistrate or any other government officer of the same rank will only be accepted.
(e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph (Maharashtra State does not issue with photograph of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate).
(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Teshildar/SDM (if religion as “SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate.
(g) School Character Certificate. School character certificate issued by the School/College Principal/headmaster where the candidate last studied.
(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/Muncipal Corporation within last six months.
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photographs issued by village Sarpanch/Muncipal Corporation within last six months.
(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW candidate are required to provide the following documents :-
(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective records office only duly signed by records Officer with Personal number, Rank , Name and particular of the records officer issuing the relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp is endorsed.
(ii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced, Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.
(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders.
(m) Sports Certificate.
(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level and State at National level within the last two years. For list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.
(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State Level and University team or regional team at District level with 1st/2nd position within last two years. Sports certificates should be with registration number and from govt recognized sports institutes/bodies as under :-
(aa) All Sr/Jr national Championship Certificate - Respective National Federation.
(ab) All State & Dist level Certificates - Respective State Sports Association.
(ac) All University level Certificate - Inter University Sports Board.
(ad) All Scholl level certificate - All India School Games Federation.
(n) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non judicial Stamp paper as per given below duly attested by notary will be submitted by candidate.
(o) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar Card are mandatory documents for final enrollment for purpose of pay and allowances and other social benefits scheme.

How to apply:
 Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 14 Nov 19 to 28 Dec 2019. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 29 Dec 2019 to 12 Jan 2020.

Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in . Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to civil police.
